Hate realizing a post didn’t – well – post.
Day 23 I didn’t get to a post yesterday – what with the Garden Poems reading and other distractions. So consider that day a wild card as far as prompts go.
My next reading will be this Thursday – Moments Before Midnight is doing their official Launch at Western Oregon University in Monmouth and I am one of the MBM pets reading. The whole day is part of a Cultural Diversity event, with many workshops and other interesting events happening before * after. If you don’t make it – I have heard the MBM will be live-streamed or recorded (to be broadcast later).
Today’s prompt is “write a Monday poem” …
And here is what my contemporaries are also offering this month in regards to poetry writing challenges …
- Robert Lee Brewer’s Apr PAD challenge (Twitter, search #AprPAD.)
- The official NaPoWriMo / GloPoWriMo Challenge. (Twitter, search #NaPoWriMo2018)
- The Poetry School NaPoWriMo challenge.
- WORDxWord 30/30 challenge on their blog.
- Moore School 30 Day Poetry Challenge – a list of prompts for National Poetry Month.
- Camp NaNoWriMo – for those wanting help starting another novel …
I have uploaded my Pinterest “Ariel’s List” for April if you want to use those.
Want to look up a past prompt? Maybe one of my past Pinterest “Ariel’s List”?
I’ve made it easy for you. You can find them in my archive on my Poetry Prompts page.
