Day 25 of 30 in our 2018 NaNoWriMo & November Poem-A-Day (NovPAD) challenges. The countdown has begun; counting today, only 6 days left.
Today is International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women; according to the United Nations “the date marks the beginning of 16 days of remembrance and activism, culminating in International Human Rights Day” The color for this cause is orange so let’s go with “orange” as our prompt.
For 2018 PAD Challenge, Brewer’s prompt today is to take a line from a poem written earlier this month, make that the title of your poem.
Over at Poetry Potion’s Poem-A-Day Challenge prompt dovetails nicely into today’s International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women; it is “rescued and revived”.
And for this year’s NaNo writers, we get “You deserve that seasonal latte, okay? You do.” on the NaNoWriMo calendar – so whether you have written 41 thousand words this month or 400, go ahead – treat yourself.
Yep – I’m all about the prompts!
