We made it to the first Sunday of the New Year! !
Our prompt today is “pistanthrphobia”; my, that’s a mouthful, isn’t it?
I have gotten to the point where I think it is near impossible for anyone to make it out of childhood & adolesce without some damage having been done – some damage that takes away naivete and gives us an ‘edge’.
It took a while to put a name to mine, even though I still deal with it’s damage on a daily basis. But I have been making peace with mine. Of course, part of that peace goes towards trying to help other victims heal and trying to get them justice.
Tell me what caused your edges and distrust … Or, if you’re not ready. just tell it to the ink & paper. And take care of yourself.
And if you want to buy holiday gifts with poetry or art on it (and support me as a small business), I have the following links for you.
