Been a slow week and an even slower day but it seems like I have my Pixy re-built.
Which means I now have access again to my July prompt Continue reading “July 17 prompt”
So, many of you know I juggle my time back and forth between Ariel & CC Willow, between poetry & painting. There are times I feel that tug-of-war more than others …
Last night I stayed up uploading artwork onto ties – the latest product introduced on ShopVida (just in time for Dad’s Day!)
So let’s make today’s prompt “tying one on” because I feel rather drunk with not enough sleep … Continue reading “May 27 prompt”
Day 30 – Last Day of National Poetry Writing and all the Poem-A-Day challenges. It could be a sad day … But good news! Not only will November bring National Novel Writing Month but it will bring November’s Poem-A-Day Challenges!
As for me, I’m gonna continue posting one a day … HERE!
And tomorrow brings May –
Day 25 I’m going to make this quick before the ‘puter gremlins wake up or before my mind short-circuits a vital part of my body.
Following the prompts of the last two days Today’s prompt is “write a Wednesday poem” ... hoping to make the final week of Apr Poem-A-Day challenge easy for you! Continue reading “Apr 25 #AprPAD #NaPoWRiMo”
Hate realizing a post didn’t – well – post.
Day 23 I didn’t get to a post yesterday – what with the Garden Poems reading and other distractions. So consider that day a wild card as far as prompts go.
My next reading will be this Thursday – Moments Before Midnight Continue reading “Apr 23 #AprPAD #NaPoWRiMo”
Day 19 Good news! My Pixy (‘puter) yet lives! A day of sitting in rice seems to removed what water leaked in. I am SOOOO relieved – not just because this is the first repository of my PAD/NaPoWriMo poems but because it is the only place Continue reading “Apr 19 #AprPAD #NaPoWRiMo”
Day 18. My aide may have killed my beloved laptop with dishwater. We’ll see, Fortunately, the top was closed. I have dried what water I could see and have it bagged up with rice until tomorrow.
So – today we do this tiny-screen editing Continue reading “Apr 18 #NaPoWriMo #AprPAD”
Day 17 I have a good reason for being late-ish today. A great reason! I was poeming. That ABC poem from last Friday? – My muse decided what it really should consist of: and I’m mostly blind today so it took a while – and two devices – to type it out.
I’ll share it with you at the end of today’s offering.
Today’s prompt is “shared questions”. Continue reading “Apr 17 #AprPAD #NaPoWRiMo”
This evening, the poets from Moments Before Midnight anthology are reading from the just-released Moments Before Midnight at Salem Poetry Project. As one of the MBM poets – I’ll be there! Join me Continue reading “Apr 12 #AprPAD #NaPoWRiMo + 2 poems”
My PAD prompt is … “collage” – Collect images from newspapers and magazines either by clipping them or making a list of the colors, things, people, objects, and their qualities that you notice as you look through them. If you’ve clipped images, create a collage of the clippings as an illustration of a poem not yet written, and then write that poem. If you’ve collected images as text, use the snippets to create a poem. Continue reading “Apr 2 #AprPAD #NaPoWRiMo”
