Today it is National Memorial Day in the United States – a day to remember our loved ones past on, especially veterans and soldiers who have sacrificed for our liberty and freedom.
Today I am
remembering my own veterans … My grandfather, Vivian Jamison (Jay) Jamison and my late hubby. Arrin Brown.

Want to look up past prompt? Maybe one of my past Pinterest “Ariel’s List”?
I’ve made it easy for you. You can find them in my archive on my

Son and I are off to do one of my hubby’s favorite past-times – exploring the back roads and woods of Oregon!

I identify myself as a Pacific Northwest poet. I have been writing poetry since 1976- and yes - I have been using the pen-name Ariel all this time! I can often be found writing in the Willamette Valley, in Pacific forests or along the Coastlines on Oregon.
