Day 15 prompt

Still December – so tossing in another holiday-themed prompt out there ..Today’s is “the lights on my tree” …

One of my favorite traditions is sitting in a quiet house, after everyone has gone to bed, watching the christmas lights dance to some Christmas music put on low. When my husband was alive, I would be cuddled in his lap – a cat curled up in mine. I still do this on my own – my tree loaded down with lights, some years I don’t even put ornamets on it, allowing the lights ceter stage.

Write a poem – tell me about you lights, your tree. Or why you refuse to have any. Or why you keep them u year-long.
