Today’s prompt is especially timely – given yesterday’s traditional gift-giving frenzy. It is ” thank you note”.
Write a poem that is a thank you note or a poem about a thank you note.
Or maybe an anti-thank-you-note poem (because I think Dear Abby’s obsession with Thank You notes is overblown: if you verbally said “TY” why waste paper and stamp saying it again …
I identify myself as a Pacific Northwest poet. I have been writing poetry since 1976- and yes - I have been using the pen-name Ariel all this time! I can often be found writing in the Willamette Valley, in Pacific forests or along the Coastlines on Oregon.
