Today’s prompt “Mother, on her birthday”

My mother’s birthday is today, Dec 13th – although she passed away a few years ago. She always said her best birthday’s were when her birthday fell on a friday – Friday the Thirteenth. Yeah – that explains alot about my mother.

I used to take after my dad’s mother alot, looking very much as she did when she was younger – as I get older, I am now seeing more of my mother in my face’s features. I’m not sure what to think of that … Maybe a poem will tell me …
