So, a lil’ computer/e-devices issues today. But I used the downtime to catch up on the dishes.
June is coming up fast, and that is the start of the plein air series Paint The Town/Write The Town … where Willamette Valley artists and poets go to various Salem Area locations over the summer. And we will capture the scenes enscene using paint and pretty words.
So I am starting to get ready – getting my go-bags ready as this Saturday is the first event. And I am thinking of stretching my skills out by doing some quick backyard pieces.
Today’s prompt is “en plein air”
Go outside – write about what you see.
Want to look up past prompt? Maybe one of my past Pinterest “Ariel’s List”?
I’ve made it easy for you. You can find them in my archive on my Poetry Prompts page.
I identify myself as a Pacific Northwest poet. I have been writing poetry since 1976- and yes - I have been using the pen-name Ariel all this time! I can often be found writing in the Willamette Valley, in Pacific forests or along the Coastlines on Oregon.
Let me know what you think ...
