June 3 prompt – Ariel, Pacific NW poet

June 3 prompt

Again going with a photo prompt today – It is Paint The Town. Write The Town Event 2. And I am at Gaiety Hollow.

This year the organizers have arranged music

for us. So this morning, I am painting/poeming to the sound of a violin singing. And this sgternoon we will have crooning from an Irish Harp.

I identify myself as a Pacific Northwest poet. I have been writing poetry since 1976- and yes - I have been using the pen-name Ariel all this time! I can often be found writing in the Willamette Valley, in Pacific forests or along the Coastlines on Oregon.
