I interpreted it as a person who was a shut-in.  You can go your own interpretation of it.

Today’s prompt was “random kindness”

And I’ve been the recipient of a few today! 🙂  You can thank those persons for me not walking naked down the middle of the street, muttering unsavories under my breath. 😀
