Mar 25 prompt

I’m not a smoker but…Today’s prompt is “an ashtray”.

What kind of metaphor will this be?

It’s one of those days when my devices are not cooperating, and I have had to recreate this post a few times. So I’m just going to end it here and hope this will finally post.

I identify myself as a Pacific Northwest poet. I have been writing poetry since 1976- and yes - I have been using the pen-name Ariel all this time! I can often be found writing in the Willamette Valley, in Pacific forests or along the Coastlines on Oregon.
