It’s such nice weather today … let’s make today’s poem be a happy, peaceful one.
Today’s prompt is “garden gate”.
What’s behind your garden gate?
Or maybe it is someone else’s’ garden gate where you wish to be?
Want to look up past prompt? Maybe one of my past Pinterest “Ariel’s List”?
I’ve made it easy for you. You can find them in my archive on my
Poetry Prompts page.
I was hoping to add a garden gate poem on to this post … but the ‘puter gremlins will not release my poem files. Tried throwing them some meat – but they are starved for attention instead.

I identify myself as a Pacific Northwest poet. I have been writing poetry since 1976- and yes - I have been using the pen-name Ariel all this time! I can often be found writing in the Willamette Valley, in Pacific forests or along the Coastlines on Oregon.
