Day 13 of 30 in our 2018 NaNoWriMo & November Poem-A-Day (NovPAD) challenges. I’ve been fighting my computer every step of the way while building today’s post.

Today is  World Kindness Day. But there is no need to save all your random acts of kindness for today, spread them out throughout your days. Today’s prompt is “past kindnesses”.

It’s Two-For-Tuesday over at Brewer’s 2018 PAD Challenge, Day 13’s prompts are

  1. write a quiet poem.
  2. write a loud poem

Poetry Potion’s Poem-A-Day Challenge has something a little different for us today; their prompt is to use these three words in a poem – blight, horse, cauldron.

For NaPoWriMo Calendar today advises “If a subplot isn’t working, forget about it. Move on.”

Have fun writing …

On Sunday, Poetry Potion had the prompt “things god did not make”.  Writing this one, taking inspiration from a pre-dawn moment AND following Emily Dickinson’s advice to ‘write slant’ – the poem morphed into “things god made”. Let me share this draft …
