Onwards! Day 17 of 30 in our 2018 NaNoWriMo & November Poem-A-Day (NovPAD) challenges.
Today’s holidays are International Survivors of Suicide Day, National Adoption Day, National Baklava Day, National Homemade Bread Day & National Unfriend Day, These all would make good topics/metaphors for poems. So for Today Nov 17, pick the one that speaks loudest to you and write that. I’ve done the unthinkable and have unfriended. I bake bread on Sunday mornings. Baklava is delicious but one of the few things I consider too sweet. One of my favorite family members is adopted. and I have a semi-colon on my ankle.
Day 17th 2018 PAD Challenge prompts is to write a broken poem.
Poetry Potion’s Poem-A-Day Challenge Day 17’s prompt is two love stories.
NaPoWriMo Calendar today has a Ray Bradbury quote “Your intuition already knows what to write so get out of the way. “
For a shared draft today, I am going to go with “Brave”,
This was a prompt from Robert’s November Challenge yesterday. If you are with me on Facebook, you learned that not only is my right ankle broken -but my left one is now broken as well. And yet – life goes on, demands I go on. Which involves walking on those ankles.
And I knew today would involve more. So I needed a reminder. And an acknowledgment.
I’m all about the prompts…
