Yep – I’m all about the prompts!

Can I vent here, before Dec 1st?

I’m feeling a bit (okay – VERY) rebellious today – which may be why my devices are being so troublesome.  I know at this season I should be daily marketing my CC Willow wares …but here’s the thing, I hate distilling myself to being a “product”; I am a human, not a corporate entity.  I don’t want to spend my time composing marketing strategies – new product launches, holiday sales, customizing each and every message for the day with new messages for the next day. It eats up the time I have for creating. I am literally spending hundreds of labor hours for an income that is less than ten dollars.

Of course – the only cure to less marketing/more income is … more marketing.

It would, of course, be different if my disability payments came through – I would have money for basics and not spend the whole day hustling for what amounts to be mere pennies a day. And it should be reasonable to expect my disability claim to be paid out; after all I paid the Disability Insurance every month for 33 years.

I’m feeling very defeated … but IAM tenacious. I can’t update my digital devices without money, can’t be warm without money, can’t stop my home falling into entropy without money.

So forgive my marketing tags/links at the end of these posts, forgive my delays due to uncooperative technology, forgive the occasional onslaught of social media “please buy/now available posts. forgive those times my body places more obstacles than escape hatches. (like now, when my eyes refuse to focus). I ran out of funds years ago and on fumes. Now I am out of fumes and running on sheer will and that stubborn tenaciousness.

I should do marketing here but it is almst2 pm, the day more than halfway gone, – and I have pressing tasks that MUST be done in the next few hours … so tomoorrow.

Just keep in mind the long-awaited anthology On The Platform Waiting – containing 2 of my poems –  was released this last Tuesday from my PlatChal group. There’s an awesome story behind it’s creation – maybe I can share that tomorrow.

And if you want to buy holiday gifts with poetry or art on it (and support me as a small business)nology, I have the following links for you.
