For June I have decided to play with mythic tales – starting with Roman epics. Your poem can retell the tales, rewrite & refresh it – use it as a metaphor or a jumping off point, be a persona poem or an elegy – whichever the muse(es) whisper to you.

Today’s prompt starts with Cassandra”  who was blessed by Apollo to utter true prophecies but also cursed by him that no-one would believe her.

Which also leads to Cassandra Complex – living with disbelief – which I know I have been afflicted with on several occasions.
