Sorry for the late posting – yesterday just exhausted me and I went to bed a lil’ earlier than normal. … and slept later than normal. Since then it has been getting ready to head out the door. This evening is Salem’s 2nd Annual Steampunk Ball & I and the other committee members are switching into Defcon 5 in our preparations …
But first! Prompt for Friday, Oct 26 – is “a demon kidnaps you with “you’re going to help me settle a bet” ”.
If you like CC Willow’s “A Ritual to Read to Each Other” – an art print is one of the prizes for the Ball’s raffle! So is a Steampunk parasol done by CC Willow.
Can you tell that I have been so looking forward to tonight’s festivities?

Looking for patrons so I will have the funds to continue offering this blog – Patreon is a membership platform that makes it easy for creators to get paid.
For patrons, Patreon is a way to join your favorite creator’s community and pay them for making the stuff you love. By supporting a creator with a few bucks per month, your favorite creators can make a living doing what they do best (for me – that’s poetry) because of you! And you become a bonafide, real-life patron of the arts.
I identify myself as a Pacific Northwest poet. I have been writing poetry since 1976- and yes - I have been using the pen-name Ariel all this time! I can often be found writing in the Willamette Valley, in Pacific forests or along the Coastlines on Oregon.
