Let’s bounce back to the females in these tales …
Saturday ‘s prompt was “Anticlea (or Anticlea)“ – Odysseus’ mother who died “of grief, longing for him while he was at war”. (As a mother, I can relate!)
And her name literally means “without fame” – that sounds like a mother to me!
And since I am also mining National Days for prompts, June 22nd was:
- Summersgiving … (Go ahead – celebrate it a couple days late; I’m gonna!)
- National Chocolate Eclair Day
- National HVAC Tech Day – maybe not the most glamorous of people 0 but it’s summer and they keep or air-conditioners working … so let’s show them some love!
- National Onion Rings Day
