Day 25 I’m going to make this quick before the ‘puter gremlins wake up or before my mind short-circuits a vital part of my body.
Following the prompts of the last two days Today’s prompt is “write a Wednesday poem” ... hoping to make the final week of Apr Poem-A-Day challenge easy for you!

Upcoming events – Reading at the Moments Before Midnight sBook Launch tomorrow – I’m attaching a flyer with the details.
Also – And this is important to me – I had talked the Salem Art Walk Committee into making Aprils Group Show’ theme be Poetry to play into National Poetry Month. So If you live near Salem Oregon – WE NEED Poets & their poetry,
Salem Art Walk Has a Monthly Art Walk on the Last Friday of every month; it has been going strong now for 18 months. It includes a group art show, based on a monthly theme, at Prims Gallery AND THIS TIME AROUND ITIS POETRY! So the committee is looking especially for entries from poets.
Also – if poets want a pop-up location where they can display /sell their CHAP BOOKS, Please see facebook.com/prismsgallery or contact Anna Cottam at acottom@pclpartership.org
I know I should have sent this earlier – but as I have mentioned before, my current disabilities play havoc with my planning & scheduling abilities. So I am <singing> “sending out this SOS to the world” … you being The World.
Pieces will be accepted Wednesday afternoon until Friday for the show to open at 4 pm Friday, Apr 27 (I’ll be on hand Friday. Pieces will continue to be shown until the Wednesday before May’s Last Friday. Prism is located in The Reed Underground (basement of Reed Opera House Mall in Salem, by stairs). It is organized by non-profit Partners for Community Living – beginning at first as a gallery for disabled artists but has branched out to include artists of all mediums in the area. I, for one, will be submitting my Write The Town poem displays.
As the theme is Poetry -apr in honor of National Poetry Month – there will also be an OPEN MIC for poets that night Apr 27. The Art Walk runs from – 8 pm. NOt sure on the details yet for this – that gets finalized at Thursday’s Committee meeting. Please see facebook.com/prismsgallery or contact Anna Cottam at acottom@pclpartership.org
I’ll have more details after tomorrow’s meetings; my body/brain hasn’t let me attend the past few meet’ns.
